Revised Cancellation Policy 2022 - Please Read in full
My relationship with my clients is built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect.
I operate a very busy practice and often have waiting lists for appointments, so please act with consideration of giving me as much notice as possible should you need to change your booking.
When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood is jeopardized. You're also taking an appointment away from someone else who could benefit from my care.
This will benefit both your RMT as well as, you, the client. Please keep in mind one day, YOU may be that client who requires an emergency appointment and have been waiting on the cancellation list. This policy will allow your RMT to reach out and offer that booking to you or anyone else on that list.
As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients (that's you!)
Remember RMTs are “Self Employed Practitioners” and cancellation terms are set to protect their business.
*If you do not support the policies below, we can happily provide you with a referral to another clinic / practice*
Our Cancellation Policy
Due to the impact of COVID and the lack of notice in many situations, WMT will be implementing (and enforcing) a new Cancellation Policy.
Wellness Massage Therapy will ALWAYS provide the following;
1- Confirmation of booking
2- Reminder email (sent to the email YOU provided to me)
3- Text reminder 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time
Please be sure to check these reminders, primarily the text reminders as they will have the accurate time.
NOTE: Going forward WMT will be collecting (and protecting) your credit card information to your file. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, for any reason or miss your appointment, the card on file will be charged for the full treatment cost.
No, but really, ANY reason: Illness, injury, emergency, alien abduction… (they’re out there)
Texting is easy and it only takes 1 minute.
Think of your massage like a ticket to the NAC. If you can’t make it, you either send a friend in your place or absorb the cost.
This is not a punishment; it's protection of my most valuable resource—my time
Policy as follows:
A) If you PHONE or TEXT 24 to 48 hours before your appointment and reschedule your appointment, no charge will be applied
B) If you PHONE or TEXT with less than 24 hours' notice 100% fee will be charged.
C) FAILURE TO ATTEND with no notice: 100% charged.
*If you are able to fill your spot, WMT will waive the fee.*
Late arrival:
If you arrive late for your appointment, you will be charged for the FULL appointment time and your start time will remain as originally booked.
Full treatment price is payable even on late arrival. Our time is valuable and by booking your therapist for a set time you have agreed to pay the fee for that time, even if your treatment time is reduced by your late arrival.
The good news?
I honour my policy in reverse! I will always be sure to provide you with 24 hours notice, should I need to cancel your appointment. I value your time and require the same in kind.
I will always appreciate your business and will provide you, as our clients, with the utmost respect and professionalism. We take pride in offering a service that is exceptional and would love to keep up that standard.
Thank you for your support and understanding,
Marissa Domanski RMT

**Please note: Throughout the Pandemic WMT has been lenient in order to accommodate each client, we have respected that sickness can occur unexpectedly. However, that kindness has been abused. Many industries have taken a hit over the course of the last few years and unfortunately with the costs of living increasing, we can no longer sustain “exceptions” to the cancellation policy.
